Holly was born to lead retreats (her formative years were surrounded by dancers, yogis and meditators) and her mission is to free you from whatever is holding you back. You don’t need much yoga experience to enjoy this retreat, however a reasonable fitness level is required.

Yoga and Meditation with Holly Warren
During this week, you will gain the confidence to build a self-practice that you can continue at home. The daily yoga classes prepare you to balance physical stability and strength with mindful tranquility. So, rather than trying to perfect the external shapes of yoga, you’ll begin to experience freedom of mind, enormous reserves of energy and a deeper connection with yourself and others.

The food at Kaliyoga will delight and amaze you and with a generous brunch after yoga, then afternoon tea and evening supper. If you are vegan or have a food intolerance, we’re happy to prepare your food with just as much love, flavour and attention to detail.
Our holistic therapy team is available every afternoon to help you work through whatever might be holding you back.
Holistic therapy sessions coupled with yoga are a powerful combination that will re-connect and balance you in myriad ways.
Evenings and workshops
Evenings can be social – we have two sitting rooms where thee’s always something to read and someone to talk to. Holly leads an optional chanting session in the vaulted sitting room. If you love music and you love to dance, Holly’s dance training breathes new meaning into ‘ecstatic dance’, so bring your sequins and prepare to dance your yoga!
Our expert nutritionist and Ayurvedic chef Alessandra leads an inspiring workshop, two hours, which focuses on the creation of a whole meal. A meal example: raw zucchini lasagna, gluten-free pastry stuffed with seasonal vegetables, raw blueberry cheesecake.
Kaliyoga Italy is located in the stunning Itria Valley, one hour South of Bari, in the garden province of Puglia – voted by National Geographic as the most beautiful place in the world. The property is a restored 17th century farmhouse with Trulli, protected by UNESCO. This place is breathtakingly beautiful.
Friday Free Time
After Friday’s morning yoga class and brunch, you can explore the rich local culture and make plans to dine out.
Optional activities in your free time :
– a trip to the beach
– if it’s cloudy we can arrange a trip to the historic town of Matera (European city of culture), or Polignano by the sea, and Alberobello where you can explore iconic Trullo houses.

Also, there are bicycles for you to explore local country lanes, or visit the nearby baroque towns of Martina Franca and Locorotondo (approx 15 mins by bike).
Supper: on Friday evening guests often take the opportunity to dine out at a local restaurant. If you prefer to stay home, we can arrange a light meal for you.
