REVIEW IN YOGA MAGAZINE
"To me there are three things that make a first-rate yoga retreat. Excellent food, good yoga (of course), and beautiful scenery. In which case Kaliyoga has this recipe for perfection in spades". July 2003 |

A true holiday, that's how Arend Bos (38) described his six day retreat in Andalucia. "Delicious eating, relaxation through yoga in the morning and evening and wonderful surroundings combined with the most beautiful star lit skies I have ever seen'. An acquaintance told me to book a retreat for a week in Southern Spain, a two hours drive from Malaga. A week of true luxury, in every way. Tastefully decorated guest rooms - there are five, so the group is never too large - a cook that took away each prejudice I had towards vegetarian food (gazpacho, artichokes in almond sauce - so delicious) and a true release from all the stress of daily life through yoga lessons. They taught me that yoga is a way to get rid of unresolved tension that was always present in my body. After this holiday I realised it was better not to let it come this far and started integrating yoga into my life. Not that I, like in that week, do yoga twice a day, but I manage to practice three to four times a week. And I took up yoga lessons as well. I wouldn't want to miss it for the world." Summer 2005 |

A Place In The Sun (Channel 4)
The emphasis at Kaliyoga is definitely on healing, as well as relaxing, and while the yoga element is not rammed down people's throats, it is a vital element giving structure to the holidays. September 2004 |

Effortless Detox...
"Three weeks post detox... I am feeling invigorated, peaceful, ready for the year ahead, and incredibly grateful for the experience that you created for us. I have changed my eating patterns, I am eating smaller portions, eating slower, knowing when I feel full, not depriving myself of anything and enjoying food a lot more. I thought the structure of the detox and daily routine was well thought out and effortlessly executed, making it easier for us to enjoy and benefit from the experience." Leora Newman - 38, property developer (January 2007)
Hi,
Wow! Since getting back from Kaliyoga I've remained very blissed out with lots more energy at the same time - I've done 2 self practices which have helped to continue the state. I was just about to seriously lose it at work yesterday afternoon when your email arrived! Suddenly I was back in your lovely calm yoga home, listening to the cicadas and looking forward to some fantastic yoga teaching followed by scrummy dinner!
Jo N., July 2006
"Beautiful setting in the hills, perfect for a yoga retreat and totally home from home. Good accommodation, just right for this kind of place. Fantastic vegetarian food and lots of it. Yoga first class and good instruction. Treatments of a high standard and great variety. Sauna, Jacuzzi and pool all on site. Staff very friendly. Great place would recommend to anyone not just as a yoga retreat but a lovely place to get away from it all and relax in a beautiful part of Spain."

Hi Folks,
Just wanted to say a really big thank you to everyone at Kaliyoga for a fantastic week. I did loads of internet research before booking, as I wanted to go somewhere that would be like a home from home, with not too big a group, well taught yoga, good company and great food. From the minute I arrived I knew it was going to be a special holiday. The house is beautiful, and I received such a warm welcome, I felt de-stressed within hours! Add to that the fantastic choice of therapies, great yoga, lovely people and amazing food - I'm not vegetarian but I'm so missing
the veggie cuisine! (have had fruit every morning for breakfast since I got back though!). A perfect holiday. Zoe S., July 2006
I had a very powerful week which is with me, giving me snippets of joy as I remember my week in your home. The beautiful view I had every night as I lay in my tipi, looking up at the stars twinkling, the view from the Shala as I welcomed the day with wonder and delight, and the view from my sunchair, the rolling mountains, olive trees and the beautiful sun. Wow! What a wonderful week!

Thank you for welcoming us so graciously into your heavenly retreat and leaving us with the sweet memories of laughter, delicious food, laughter, tortuous (but in a nice way) yoga sessions, more laughter and a strong determination to continue on this healthy path. Hope all is well up in the mountains and once again it was such a delight to get to know both of you. Big Kiss
Seema & Salima, July 2002
Just a quick line to say how much we enjoyed our week with you. It was like staying with old friends. The accommodation and food were superb, and the Yoga very powerful.

I thoroughly enjoyed the two weeks and came back to London feeling really relaxed, refreshed, focused, and in love with the universe! You've got what it takes to run a successful yoga retreat - style, panache and a wicked sense of humour and those qualities are priceless. I'd certainly come back and also recommend Kaliyoga to friends.
Meena Patel, June 2002
Just thought I would write to thank you both for a wonderful week. I am now back in (rainy) England, but still feel very energised. I will definitely recommend Kaliyoga to all that I know who would be interested, you've got a truly wonderful mix of relaxation, action, spirituality and of course laughter!
