| In addition to breakfast, we offer two Mediterranean-inspired vegetarian meals per day that are imaginatively prepared using locally grown produce, organic whenever possible. Cold-pressed virgin olive oil, local of course, is used in cooking and in salads. Meals are usually eaten al fresco on the poolside terrace. Nuts, dried fruit, biscuits, spring water and herbal infusions are available all day. The kitchen is closed every Wednesday evening, so guests can dine out at a local cafe or restaurant (25min walk), or in Granada (45min by car). On your last day there is a self-sevice breakfast of fresh fruits, yoghurt, cereal, toast, tea etc.
Dietary needs
Kaliyoga provides a balanced mainstream lacto-ovo vegetarian diet using local ingredients, many of which are organic, including aubergine, onion, garlic, tomato, potato, mushrooms. There is some wheat and dairy. If you are allergic to certain ingredients we will do our best to meet your requirements, provided that you remember to tell us in advance. If you have dietary needs that are beyond our means to procure, then please bring such specialist foods with you. There are two excellent health food shops in the nearby town of Orgiva. There is also an excellent homeopathic pharmacy.
