| Rosie Miles - Yoga Teacher and co-founder of Kaliyoga.
I was born in London and raised in Sydney, Australia. After a brief career as a journalist, I trained to be an actress at London´s Drama Centre and appeared in theatres in the UK and abroad. In 1999 I took up yoga, initially as a cure for insomnia, but I was so taken with the transformative effects of the practice that I undertook teacher training at Windfire school of yoga with Godfrey Devereux. I use my performance skills to help each guest gain confidance and a deeper understanding of themselves through yoga.

| Jonathon Miles - Yoga Teacher, masseur and co-founder of Kaliyoga.
After 15 years working in the music business I undertook training in holistic massage at the London School of Holistic Massage. In 1995 I began studying yoga at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in London and later trained to teach yoga under the guidance of Godfrey Devereux at the Windfire school of yoga. I met Rosie at Windfire during the teacher training course and we are now married with two children.
My philosophy on juice-fasting, colonic cleansing and yoga:
Fasting is a traditional part of yoga practice, though western students are often not aware of it. During a juice-fast, energy is no longer required for the digestiion of solids, instead this energy is available for repairing, cleansing and boosting the whole body. Gentle colonic irrigation restores proper assimilation of food and liquids by removing accumulated placque (solidified mucous) that clogs up the digestive tract. Yoga excercise (asana) with colonic cleansing and juice-fasting is the best way to rejuvenate yourself and guide yourself back into natural equilibrium.

| Sofia Haitzmann - Homeopath
I trained in classical homeopathy in Switzerland at the Samuel Hahnemann School from 1997 to 2002. Diet and nutrition is my central focus for therapy work, together with homeopathy.
My philosophy on detox:
Most chronic illnesses and diseases that are caused by the hectic lifestyle of modern society, but if we do one or two detox weeks per year and we adopt a sensible healthy lifestyle, we can cure existing tendencies and pevent chronic pathology from getting a hold. Homeopathy is useful when we are fasting because usually we tend to present ourself from a certan light, but when fasting some layers are stripped off and we become so much more our true self. So for the homeopath or other therapist it is much easier to discover the main issues that hold us back from healing and help us move forward.

| Yair Sagy - Acupuncturist and Intuitive Healer
My extensive training was in California and in China. When I treat someone, first I examine their electromagnetic field (Aura) as well as the energetic state of the 7 main energy centers (chakras). Each of these centers reflects your mental, emotional and physical health. When those centers are balanced and healthy, they will radiate beautiful light, but when there is a blockage the energy will appear shrunken and deformed.
In order to deepen the detox process it is crucial to understand the profound connection between the way you think and behave: past emotional and physical experiences are directly connected to your current state of mental and physical health. When this connection is understood an important breakthrough is happening. Detoxifying old emotional patterns will greatly improve the physical cleanse.
After concluding the diagnostic process we will try to understand the mental emotional patterns which contribute to your physical and emotional symptoms. An important part of the treatment is to give you tools that will assist you dealing with the difficulties we discussed.

| Ziza Sagy - Foot Reading and Holistic Reflexology
I have found that this combination greatly enhances and supports the fasting/detox process.
My sessions begin with Foot Reading: I gather information from your feet regarding your past experiences and present tendencies and reflect it back to you. This information will help you understand why you experience hardships and obstructions in your life and what are the best ways in which you can change patterns or strengthen weaknesses
After concluding the Foot Reading I will glide straight into the holistic Reflexology part in which I will support physically the transformational process that the client has chosen to work on. Including opening blockages, reducing stress and alleviating pain. In many cases there is a direct relationship between the physical and emotional pain.
I have observed a direct link between the ability to let go of old emotional patterns / experiences and the amount of colon plaque that clients have shed. Body-mind therapy has the same importance as the physical colonic cleansing.
From my experience, complete detox is a holistic one, approaching mind and body as an integrated unit.

| Veronika Poola - Natural Health Practitioner
I received my Natural Health Practitioner degree at the Alternative Medicine College of Canada and I am currently finishing my training to become a qualified Naturopath. About five years ago I adopted a 99% raw food diet and since then my main focus has been nutrition and detoxification. My personal experience with detox includes water and juice fasting, intestinal and liver cleansing, colonics, and heavy metal detoxification. I have organised and assisted on several raw food/detox retreats, my role being both health counsellor and educator, helping clients through their detox process and advising them on how to make positive nutritional and lifestyle changes. I believe detox is a good way to rest both body and mind and is an essential part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
During the Kaliyoga Detox retreat I will be giving two evening talks:
1. How our Digestive and Elimination Systems work (but are often constrained by unhealthy habits)
2. How Different Types of Food Affect Our Health (sprouted food, raw fruit and veg, cooked food, processed food, food combining).

| Matt Hopkins - Chiropractor and Sports Therapist
Using the gentle and holistic approach of McTimoney-Corley Chiropractic in conjunction with a number of muscle energy, positional release and massage techniques, I assess and treat a wide variety of muscular-skeletal issues, ranging from postural imbalances and flexibility problems, through to more serious muscular and skeletal injuries, both acute and chronic.
Yoga practitioners are not immune to injury and many people discover that long-term skeletal misalignment is the cause of limited flexibility or discomfort which, if not healed, can lead people to give up keeping fit altogether.

| Yana Nilsson - Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Aromatherapy Holistic Massage
Having trained in and taught various therapies over the past 25 years in UK clinics, cancer and de-tox centres and undertaken her own personal healing journey Yana gives a sympathetic, caring and deeply intuitive treatment.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
An excellent spring clean to revitalise the entire body, enhance the immune system and highly recommended to assist whilst detoxifying. Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) created by Dr. Emil Vodder in the 1930s is an advanced therapy in which the practitioner uses a range of specialised and gentle rhythmic pumping techniques to move the skin in the direction of the lymph flow. This stimulates the lymphatic vessels which carry substances vital to the defence of the body and removes waste products. MLD is both preventative and remedial and is very gently and extremely relaxing to receive. It can also improve many chronic conditions, help with fluid retention, skin conditions, constipation, promotes the healing of fractures, torn ligaments, sprains, wounds and burns and relieve deep muscular tension.
Aromatherapy Holistic Massage
The therapeutic effects of aromatic essential oils combined with the soothing power of massage is an excellent preventative treatment helping to relieve stress and many related conditions. Some of the benefits include deep muscular relaxation, stimulation of the immune system and encouraging the elimination of toxins. Rosemary, Geranium, Lavender and Juniper are especially effective on the lymphatic system and can help with fluid retention and cellulite. Specially selected essential oils are chosen for the individual and the massage can be stimulating or relaxing depending on the oils used and the techniques applied. By their fragrance and absorption through the skin the essential oils can have subtle effects on the mind and emotions helping to give feelings of relaxation, balance, harmony and well being.
